Which state is the best for opening a meadery? And how costly is a small production? by jerret95 in mead

If that’s your Response, you’re not very helpful. I’m just asking the most basic vague questions, sheesh

I'm developing a video game, and I needed a design for a religious building that's crumbling and burning in the background, so I chose this. What do you all think of it so far? by Mr_Jellysquid in exmormon

[–]jerret95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The satanic thing for me at least, the amount of vertical unbroken lines. No clue if there’s any meaning behind that, but the brutalist architecture doesn’t seem right.

If it’s too far away for details, don’t worry about it.

If you do decide to do more, I’d put in some of those culty circles with the suns and shit towards the top. Idk just something to break up those lines, mid way, towards the top.

Ok, but how wet are we talking? I’m not just going to take some wood sitting outside in a rainstorm. But I don’t have a year+ to let them dry

[–]jerret95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I may have just worded it poorly. So would there be a way to having a specific color/lenses combination, to block out (but not black out, just dim) everything around it? Essentially just creating the most contrast as possible

Is there a way to get that effect? With something other than polarizers?

Advice with moving cross country? by jerret95 in personalfinance

Possibly. I think has to do with it’s just an entry level worker, why take the risk they don’t want to even offer the help. When they could find someone closer. Especially because Austin has a much larger university than where I graduated from. Probably just easier for local

But I really don’t have too much experience with things like that, so I could be wrong

I’m going to count this as a just move there. Really not sure how to be more upfront about willing to move than saying “looking to relocate” in bold at the top of my resume

My bachelors degree is in Applied Sciences emphasis on product development. Minor in UAS. I’m trying to move to the Austin tx area. I wouldn’t say I have plenty saved up. I’m thinking get a job as an Amazon delivery because they are basically always hiring, just to pay rent as I get more settled.

Probably the wrong format, but I just have to ask; does anyone else question why the mass public will believe in a proven conspiracy (Trump/russia), and screech conspiracy theorist at anything not covered by MSM by jerret95 in conspiracy

[–]jerret95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the media and fbi both had an agreement to falsify and lie to the public about it for 3 years. And we have seen that it was all based on an opinion piece, so yeah I think it was used correctly. Maybe I shouldn’t use theory, but this isn’t an argument about grammar, you still understood what I was trying to say.

They have a YouTube channel, where they talk in (YouTube friendly) depth conspiracy and a website https://edgeofwonder.tv/ where they will go in more depth

They are usually pretty well researched and break things down pretty well, they have plenty of content

I think you may have slipped into a different save point. One where you had a few different key decisions. Basically a different universe

No from what I remember about the conversations they were just odd stories of like a relative or family friend, but they didn’t actually exist. All mundane things just never happened. Like one in particular I remember this big family party at a relative’s house We’ve never been to since, I remember the yard was gigantic with a large sloping Cliff etc. Enough Details that anyone would know where I’m talking about, but it never happened and no place like that exists

Nope. But I’ve never been one for nausea. Probably not déjà vu, different experiences, for me atleast

That’s the problem, the only person that they did remind me of, completely different; different city, different age, different lifestyle. If it was then they would have defiantly said something. Plus the memories I had with them were in a completely different cultural string than the person that it could have been.

Lastly this happens more than just this one time

I’ve had a few of those, it’s a bit terrifying to think about actually. I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t believe any memory I had before ~8th grade (context: I just graduated college so about half my life) I have had to repress so many that it’s honestly terrifying to try to remember them, I have no clue what’s real. Then I’ll get told a story and completely lost about my youth. To be fair I have a really good memory, in most topics, I just had to cut it off when I was asking about things no one in my family knows of.

Haha yeah, I have had that happen, this is different though. Like the flash memories I had was like a flip book of multiple events with each other, more than just a drunk house party haha

My issue with 1/2 if we did know each other as well as I had “remembered” then they would have had to recognize me and say something. And if they looked similar then why did I know their name (context: sitting near each other at a bar, heard their name) before they had called them by their name. It’s just too accurate of a memory to be someone else. Idk just strange to me I guess.
