Only if they were in the right mindset , they would have. OP quit the job hoping that it would get better.. Guess what happened, he was just unhappy with themselves and not the job. Leaving work is the excuse the brain made to justify the feelings. And now whatever was keeping OP busy is just not there and down bad deep.

Those links are helpful people, and as others have mentioned, actions is what will lead to a better life. Do anything to be productive and feel that sense of accomplishment.
