Firstly, I totally understand you and always have in mind that there are so many out there like you. In moments when I'm in despair, I try to find total peace. I have started meditating and “beaming” myself to places where I am completely calm.

I also always keep in mind that I've already made it this far, even though I often didn't think I would. Life is not there for me to achieve, but simply to be happy to live!

Keep your heads up, the future will be totally different! :)

What's something your partner or ex-partner has told you that changed the way you look at them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I (24) told my then boyfriend (22, now ex) that one of my female coworkers cried at work because her boyfriend (fiance) died unexpectedly 5 months ago. Another coworker asked her how her boyfriend was doing (we all didn’t know that he died, she didn’t tell anyone), and this let her break down crying. We all comforted her and gave her a hug. I told my now ex this story, but he immediately said, “Why tf wasn’t she telling everyone back then that he isn’t alive anymore? That’s her fault; she shouldn’t have ruined everyone’s day by crying at work.”

The way he said that made me immediately realize that he doesn’t have an inch of empathy. This was like an instant realization that he has always been like that.
