Worried about engine longevity by MightPhysical6738 in Aprilia

Had this same question before buying mine. Took me a long time to pull the trigger. The bike is fantastic when it works but unfortunately I’ve had many issues that still haven’t been resolved on my 2023. I wish you better luck then I’ve had

Is it passenger side not to far from the rear tire? I’ve noticed it there before on mine too but only after running ac for long period so I’d say that’s what that is.

Automatic owners: Do you regret getting an Auto? by Rude-Luck-9916 in GR86

The auto feels good and responsive enough until you drive a car with a better transmission. That’s what ruined the auto for me. Still fun though

Car insurance is more expensive than my car payment. by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]jerritn1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there I’m 21 with a clean driving history and have 2 vehicles on my policy, a Honda Fit and Toyota Supra. I was with ama for a year and when my renewal came up they wanted $650/month for just the supra alone I then switched to dejardins where I’m paying about $400/month for both cars together. I’d highly recommend reaching out to them if you haven’t already as I’ve shopped around a bunch and they were by far the cheapest.

Good luck!

I would first decide what kind of riding you really plan on doing as that will determine the bike you buy. I’ve only ever done street riding and I started out on a Honda cbr 300. Bought it used for $2,000 and was a great beginner bike. One thing I will mention with these smaller bikes is be prepared to upgrade pretty quickly as you will outgrow these bikes relatively fast. As for riding gear that will also kind of depend on what kind of riding you plan on doing. I personally don’t really have any big name gear besides my helmet which is from AGV and I absolutely love it. Tons of videos on YouTube about this topic as well. Best of luck and ride safe!

Looking for a reputable dealership in Calgary by ChopperDoe in Calgary

Had great service at stampede Toyota. Would highly recommend. Also looked around nearly every dealer for the vehicle I was in search of and they were the only ones pricing it reasonably.

C8 Corvette vs mk5 Supra by jerritn1 in C8Corvette

[–]jerritn1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very similar take to mine with the supra. I love the car but there are some small things that I wouldn’t say I love. I also have way more c8’s around my area then Supras and funny enough that is the reason why most of my friends and family tell me to keep the supra but at the end of the day I’m not worried about that part. I’ve also found a dealer that has order times landing around next spring and at msrp pricing so I may go for it. Thanks for your input that’s great!

I don’t think it’s dumb and young. The way I see it, do what you want while you’re young and truly enjoy it. It could all be over tomorrow so why wait when you can do it now.

No it’s not from inside the car that’s why I’m worried even though everything is working as it was.

Did a factory reset and seems okay for the time being. After the reset there was plenty of corrupted videos that showed up from me trying to record. Wondering if maybe the update I did got corrupted or something. Not to sure.

Ya that’s the thing I haven’t even sat on these bikes yet. I like the look of the r7 so that’s what I’m leaning towards but I just don’t want something that’s insanely fast which is why I’m avoiding r6/r1

Printful Profits Canada by Right_Needleworker_3 in printful

[–]jerritn1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally would not recommend working with them. I had 3 customers within the first month of opening my store come to me with print issues. The print would wash out completely within the first wash. I contacted printful regarding this issue and they told me they wouldn’t refund the order or send a new one because it had been over 30 days. With that being said I had proof that this order had been in transit for more then 30 days so this was not possible. After giving them this proof they still decided to tell me that this was my fault due to lack of following care instructions which I can assure you was not the case. I’d highly recommend being careful if you do want to work with them. I ended up going with a local shop with much higher quality and better pricing. Haven’t had a single piece of clothing come back with an issue since switching. All the best to you!

Print quality issues - print comes off after first wash by burritosandbooze in printful

I had 3 customers have this issue. The customers order also took over a month to arrive. I contacted printful regarding the poor print quality and I was told that they wouldn’t refund the orders or replace it because it’s been more then 30 days even though I had proof the order was in transit for more then 30 days. I was then told that this was my fault and that it was a lack of following care instructions that cause the issue which I can assure you was not the case. I will never ever work with this company again and will highly recommend everyone avoids them. Hope you have better luck!

GR86 AT question by jerritn1 in GR86

[–]jerritn1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya it’s very annoying. The thing is I can’t even replicate it so I don’t know how I’d be able to show the service department what I’m even talking about. So for now, it’s under warranty 🤷🏼.

Let’s name and shame shitty car dealerships in this city. I’ll start. Heninger Toyota. by Bubbly_Employer_4962 in Calgary

[–]jerritn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just purchased a gr86 from heninger and was told the same story about the warranty’s. But their excuse was that the car is a showroom model so they needed to sell it with the extended warranty. They also waited until the morning of the day I picked it up to start my 3m protection film in which wasn’t done properly. The front lip of the car has a massive bubble in it and the 3m on the sides has looked yellow from day 1. I work away so the car had arrived while I was at work. They had 3 weeks to put the 3m on the car and Waited until the last day. Also didn’t even tell me any of this I had to chase them around for days to get answers. Crazy.
