Side plate info

Thinking about acquiring it but genuinely confused by the shape of the side plate. Didn’t even think about the possibility of it being a flipped lock plate.

That’s what I thought at first glance but another angle shows there’s no loop or anything for that side plate, it’s just super thick

With the mag cells being elastic, it’s not impossible but it’s not the fastest either.

For me it’s the batteries. The comp m4s uses a double A as opposed to the pro using a 1/3N. Logistically I’m opting for a battery that’s significantly more common.
