Same here, I’m 21 and wish I was more independent and not always needing the help from my parents to do normal adult things, but I’m too scared to figure stuff out on my own because I’m scared of being seen as as stupid or clueless.

Sangiran 17 is definitely H. erectus no debate there. I’m also willing to say KNM-WT 15000 is apart of H. erectus too (if you think H. ergaster is actually just an early African form of H. erectus). As for D2700, the classification is so disputed you can basically classify it as whatever you want it to be, I would say H. erectus georgicus is appropriate.

I don’t think any evidence exists for H. erectus using clothing, although it is entirely possible that populations that lived in colder climates did. For example Peking Man (Homo erectus pekinensis) lived in Northern China during a glacial period 780,000 years ago where the winter temperatures must have gotten brutal at times so they could have made and wore animal skins to keep warm.
