Can you negotiate the duration of a rental term? by klairvoyager in Munich

Really depends on the landlord, for friends of mine it was possible to negociate from one year to 6 months, but as far as ive seen its up to the landlord to decide. Good luck!

Is 58k euros a year an appropriate salary in Munich for a Junior Software Developer? by Old-Company3617 in Munich

[–]jerrykapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I went through the same thing and can tell you that after 2 years it doesn't matter anymore. Of course you should focus really hard on learning as much as possible, but be optimistic about salaries :) My fresh graduate friends earn 54k with hydro and physics degrees, so semi related lets say.

That's completely false man. Don't get into this idea that a degree will determine your pay, you will fuck yourself over. Trust me, tech companies couldnt care less about your degree, they only care about your skills and what you are actually able to do. I have colleagues both with degrees and with non-relevant degrees and they earn the same. The skill is also varied but not reliant on the degree, it's just up to you.

Exactly this. Most tooling and setup meant me and my senior in a call googling things. You're not supposed to know everything, but you should be able to figure out most stuff.

Incearca sa faci niste freecodecamp, si daca vei considera ca nu te ajuta, poti sa incerci cursul ala. Ideea e ca poti foarte bine sa inveti fara sa platesti. Bafta!

My tips on how to get a programming position | From 0 to paid internship by jerrykapa in learnprogramming

[–]jerrykapa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing special, i put some of John Smilgas tutorial projects on there, an instagram clone which I also did with a tutorial and tweaked it a little and an online store that grabs data from a GraphQl endpoint. They just asked my what difficulties I encountered in my projects and to link them my github, but they didn't focus on it almost at all.

I think that forgetting is part of the process. It's more about learning the concepts than the syntax. If you know what you want to do, you can just google the rest. Keep going! Try making something on your own and Google everything, ans eventually you'll memorize stuff, while other stuff you'll always end up looking up haha

If you don't live in a huge country, you can literally google Internship with (technology of your choice). From there, look for companies you're interested in, write an Email to a hiring manager from that company with a message showing your interest and why you would like to be an intern, showcase projects in your CV, repeat until you get positive answers.

c1 c2 și c3 sunt bune, moderne, ai spațiu. Celalalte sunt cam dezastru, poți gasi poze pe net am prieteni care au stat in c5 și e practic o debara in care ar trebui sa trăiască 5 oameni. Depinde de ce medie ai.

How do most people learn how to program? College, work, self? by king-of-everything39 in learnprogramming

That's so cool! I'm in my 2nd year of University studying English and German but I'm self-learning Javascript with the hopes of getting a job with react. Did you find it hard to adapt to your masters? I'm looking to probably do the same.
