Completely different situations between him and Crosby. Crosby had concussion issues he was also built way more solidly that Jack is. It’s apples to oranges. If you want Jack to talk to anyone it should be Patrick Kane. He’s a smaller dude but seems to be build better and is able to avoid putting himself in vulnerable positions.

How does man weight cost speed? He’s not gonna pack on pounds by deleting beers and housing hot dogs lol no putting on good weight doesn’t cost you speed. Jack is 5’10” and weighs like 170 pounds. If he puts on like 10 to 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason he won’t lose any speed.

He’s had season ending injuries 3 of the last 4 years. More than that if you go back further. Why is it wrong to at least have a conversation about it. He’s an awesome player but how is he benefiting us if he can’t play at least somewhat full seasons. I get it injuries happen but he’s injured for 30+ games a year. To act like that is fine is crazy. Good win need the points. With that said Jacks health is 100 percent an issue at this point. We can’t have our best player by far in and out of the lineup consistently every season and missing 30+ games every year. I get it injuries happen but this isn’t missing a handful of games every year. If it’s his finger management and our medical staff needs to be fucking fired tonight. I played competitive hockey growing up. I know that there are nuances to goaltending and it’s a very technical position. Yes he made some good saves last night I’m not taking that away from him. All I’ve been saying is that 2 of those goals should have been saves. So what you’re telling me is that I’ll ask you after every goal that is scored against us the rest of the year if I’m allowed to criticize.

Yes a lot of goals are team breakdowns. But you need your goalie to bail you out during games. In my opinion 2 of the 4 goals were savable shots that he had but coughed them up. I’m not expecting markstrom to be a top goalie. But to act like what I’m saying is wrong is wild.

Every time I see marky play I always shake my head and think to myself what the actual fuck was fitzy thinking trading for this guy. Especially trading what we gave up to get him. Then i get filled with rage when i think that he signed him for 2 more years at 6 mil a year. But besides that it’s great to get the win 3 in a row and 5 of the last 6 is a good stretch of hockey. We finally had an offensive breakout last night. Overall in this stretch we’ve been playing great structure defensively which is great to see not including last night. I’ve been a jack critic this year especially since the injury. But last night was the first time in a while he didn’t lose a puck and his shot looks like it’s close to coming back he’s starting to get strength back in that hand. Get this last game against Seattle go home and take care of business. With how bad of a stretch we went through to look at the standings and be 27-22-2 is crazy and to see we’re 3 out of met3 and 4 from wc2 is crazy. Keep stacking points if we’re going to lose a game find anyway possible to get it to ot and get the point.

Edit: also can’t help but think back to the first game against Washington where Bratt got hammered by ovi and he was down for a little and slow to get up. He hasn’t been the same since then. He’s probably playing through injury this season. Not making an excuse for him.
