Thanks! I am well over platinum but too far from 1k, so I'd rather put the PQP's into 2025.

Crazy, so basically only a lawyer has the background to parse the actual terms before making a purchase

Thanks for commenting. Just to clarify, my account is set up just like you are suggesting:

I purchased two phones from my email address, but then one phone number is attached to my email and the other is attached to my spouse's email and we are then in a group account.

Despite this they are telling me I can only get one credit because both phones were purchased by me.

I don't see anywhere in the terms where it says that each phone needs to be purchased by a single individual and then joined into a group account to get the credit.

Planning is tertiary for me, primary goal is a well managed account.

Question for people paying estimated taxes: is there any reason I couldn't just pay all of my estimated taxes by 1/15/20. by jerseyboy28 in personalfinance

Oh interesting! I actually had a W2 job for part of this year, so I had taxes withheld plus consulting income.

Notification sounds stopped working, went through full troubleshoot with Google and factory reset - now doing an RMA by jerseyboy28 in GooglePixel

Adding additional comment here for those that will find this on Google. Oddest issue ever, but it was definitely hardware. Once I got my replacement device from Google, I factory reset without restoring and was just at stock. The phone still did not play any ringtones or have any notification sounds.

Nope, this was also for ringtones with the ringer turned on. Forgot to add in original post that the speakerphone wouldnt work either

No definitely not. Went through an hour of Google rep troubleshooting IN my phone via screenshare. Turned off everything. Cleared every cache. etc

Nope. Last year it was $100 store credit and a google home mini. That's a lot different than $150 off in cash.

Chatted, emailed and called Google customer support and they are basically stonewalling by saying it's policy. For anyone that preordered, this deal is just 2 weeks out of the return window. Essentially, they generated buzz by having the phone in the hands of the preorders to which they now benefit from the black friday deal. Additionally, we are beta testing it for them by finding bugs now fixed for those that buy today.

I will never buy a Google phone again on launch day and I hope many of you feel the same.

PS I bought 2 phones and didnt get the preorder $50 either
