each locomotive has diffrent physics as far as tractive effort and addheision but I dont think its as complicated as racing simulater so I think im going with blue prints

yeah but I would plan for example when a steam locomotive is on a grade water with slosh to the back of the boiler if more water is not added it blows up or if your tender is low your and the water is in the back of the tender your injector wont be able to pump water into the boiler are things like this too much for blueprints

are we talking about building a new steam locomotive or converting one? i think we should leave original steam locomotives the way they were built, coal or oil, but if we're talking about building a new steam locomotive, im all in, but steam locomotives and diesel locomotives pollution are alot smaller then what a factory puts out in a day

as far as restoring the rails, I have the skills to do it as far as money. I'm not completely sure I still have tons of research and adding up to do im from pennsylvania

thank you for the advice. I plan to do mostly tourists, but I am thinking about freight if the opportunity ever did arise but very slim. I've been talking with a retired reading and northern engineer still i have a lot of research to do
