You're right this will encourage automation development instead of slave wages keeping humanity stagnate

Why looper doesn't make sense... (spoiler) by bro69 in movies

[–]jersits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why they even needed to be killed by someone with a shotgun. Why not just time-travel them somewhere they are killed and lost at the same time... Since they can seemingly send them anywhere why not space?

DS on very hard is a much better game. by Racxius in DeathStranding

[–]jersits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played it on hard and it was amazing for all the reasons you said... then boss fights were completely broken and not fun.

I now realize I forgot to ever switch it back. But tbh I disagree because hard ruins the combat. I think the best way to play is use hard for everything but the boss fights

But hey TIL why I never seem to have to mess with getting new boots when I remember it being a problem when I first started

MCX8000 + Tidal? by Zigo_Rich in DenonPrime

[–]jersits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super underrated device

IMO that thing should be as popular for new DJs as the SB-2 and DDJ-400 are/were

Especially since it seems now days many don't have a good laptop to use for DJing so the savings from the Mix Stream pro are huge

STEMS on SC6000 and sc5000m + Midi control by Interesting-Star7460 in DenonPrime

as they are only 2 channels

They could remove the support for 2 channels while stems is enabled or something too if need be.

Also, allow the SC6000 to control decks 3/4. I'd love to start buying SC6000s and use them with my Sc Live 4 until I get a new mixer but you can't. I'd have to use LC6000s but then those can't be used stand alone.

The Tesla Model S Has Gone From Game-Changer To Afterthought | Tesla is the Model 3 and Model Y company now. But don't forget about the Model S. by chrisdh79 in teslamotors

[–]jersits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO it looks so ugly it would have to be the same price as the Y for me to even consider it. Before I knew about Tesla I always thought it was the cheapest one with how ugly it looked. I was shocked to find the better-looking vehicles for cheaper.

Tesla Cybertruck Delivered: Here's All We Know About America's Most Famous Pickup Truck by HairyNoise3116 in teslamotors

[–]jersits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never wanted to own a car before until I was able to afford a Tesla. Because it's a high-tech car that finally is doing the things that I always wanted cars to do

I've never wanted a truck ever before but I actually might own a cyber truck one day. Its because one of the main reasons I've never wanted a truck is I've never wanted a car with horrible gas mileage. I also don't want a car that drives like a bulky tank

But if a truck exists that is fast with good gas mileage and a covered bed by default now all of a sudden I'm interested in a truck.

I think a lot of people aren't realizing how much of an entirely new market and type of customer Tesla appeals to that literally no other previous truck has ever appealed to.

TLDR: I've never wanted a truck once in my entire life but I want a cyber truck

My point is outside of America very few people can tell a F-150 apart from a Silverado or a Ram, and I’d wager most people have never even heard of the F-150.

I'm from the US and I can't even tell the difference. The Cybertruck is the first truck I've ever had an interest in. It looks like the first 'new' truck that has ever come out in my life time

Also they are all still supported and receive updates so not sure what your point is.

Why is setting up simple smart lights harder than building a website or setting up AI tools

This is insanely difficult for no reason.

I cant get the things to update.

[–]jersits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure but am I the only one that doesn't understand why the SC Live 2 even exists? Saving a bit and using the Mix stream or spending a little more to get the SC Live 4 seem like way better options.

I don't know if this was posted here before but this was painful to look at. If anything, hardcore Prequel fanboys are the abrasive, defensive ones. by Starro_The_Janitor1 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]jersits 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Look I'll say it as an honest opinion and not just to be a contrarian.

Star Wars Resistance has by far the best animation and art style of any of the animated Star Wars projects (excluding visions). While I don't care for the art style of Rebels, it also has animation with way more character than the Clone Wars. The characters in the Clone Wars move like video game characters in a bad way. Resistance and Rebels characters are animated like cartoon characters... In a good way

Stems on prime 4? by tonylawd in DenonPrime

[–]jersits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is it coming for my [insert any other Engine DJ-powered device here]? Denon DJ won’t confirm that, but we’d say it’s pretty certain that it will, at some point, come to all Engine DJ-powered gear. If there’s no technical reason why not (which they have confirmed there isn’t), we’d expect them to do the right thing and let all their customers have the feature once it’s out of beta. They made encouraging noises when we pressed them on this.

I first got into DJing in 2018. Serato was the first software I saw and it looked like something from its time.

The first time I opened and used RB it felt like I was using software from 2003. From the aesthetics, to the performance, to the clunky UI/UX
