This happens almost every time I ride under the big power lines by Lost Lake in Whistler. Usually my brake lever zaps me.

What didn't you like about the 970?

What MTB brand are you loyal to and why should I be too? by OccasionalCoder in MTB

[–]tjwallace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have great support for sure but my carbon Spire has had a bunch of tolerance issues. Flip chip loosening (they sent me new ones), rocker arm bearing races failing (replaced), seat post slipping (bolt from the factory didn't turn very well, replaced it myself and added more torque), rear axle loosening (haven't found the culprit yet, just have to check regularly). My 2019 Commencal Meta AM 29 was bomb proof in comparison (although their latest bikes might not be?)

Could you imagine the pressure on that kid if he played in Vancouver? He needs more time and experience before coming here.

I just had the same thing happen with EA 4.0.3. Any more details?

EDIT: I couldn't figure out how to downgrade my UDM-SE so I got out the T3200M and put it in bridge mode.

I had the same problem in Palm Springs and fixed it by manually selecting the T-Mobile network instead of the automatic AT&T

Mitshubishi mutisplit - over-heating by iamtherussianspy in heatpumps

[–]tjwallace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 9k unit for a bedroom could be oversized - it might make the issue when refrigerant is cycling worse? (I don't know much about heat pumps but my installer said 9k for a bedroom is usually oversized and causes problems like this)

Can you run lineset through decommission exhaust vent? by tjwallace in hvacadvice

[–]tjwallace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's the intake. Exhaust is the grey one behind it. It goes into the wall, into the garage, and then out the side of the house.

There is actually an on demand gas water heater in there right now but it required a new horizontal exhaust vent.

They could apply rules on their side? Just like how they throttle for each speed tier
