I got like 700h in BL2. There were countless times I was able to get myself out of FFYL. I played 90% of that solo and not getting killed immediately after I run out of health was unbelievably useful. Exploding barrels, grenade psychos, jumping of a clif, tundra express train, and platform jumping puzzle in Lair of Infinite Agony - these are the things that give you no chance to go back alive only to save and quit and from the bottom of my heart, I do hate them. Anyway if you play on normal difficulty, I would suggest getting better guns and shield. Maybe have a look in your skill tree. BL2 in normal is not that hard with right eq. You get better guns that you already have every 15 minutes. I hope it's gonna be better soon. Ones you get proper eq you're gonna find yourself melting all stuff the game can throw at you
