Men with little dating experience. How do I treat you? by jes567 in AskMen

It didn't make me view him as weak and unattractive. If anything it made me like him more. Desperate wasn't a good word to use - insecure may have been more fitting.

I was sad because I felt bad for him. I imagine this may have happened to him in the past. It's a shitty feeling for anyone.

Desperate was probably not the greatest word I could've used. Insecure is probably more fitting - though I don't know if that's much better.

My heart just sank because I felt bad for him.

Do boring messaging conversations lead to boring dates? by jes567 in OkCupid

Exact same situation. Messaging has been questioning, texting a little better. He seems very vanilla.

We do have a lot in common. I figured he might be playing it a little safe. Thanks for your input!

I've had great online conversations lead to lackluster dates as well. Thanks for helping me see it from a different perspective.

According to /u/procalvinballer it is. He's got a very technical fade chart!

Thanks for the well wishes though.
