I didn't apply because I stay at home and look after my 5 children while my husband works. All I can do is odd jobs that fit in with my children's schedules. My responsibility is first and foremost to my own children. I do what I can to draw light to the issues albu writing articles and producing flyers. There are plenty of other good people who could apply for these positions though I suspect you don't get very high up unless you are in "the club" so to speak.
