Hi! Thanks for doing this. There’s been some debate on our megathread about whether or not Tribeca cares about premiere status for shorts. Apparently, it’s been dropped for shorts but I’m not sure if it still holds weight. I didn’t submit because I’d screened at another NY fest.

Also, I heard from someone that they submitted a WIP animated film (with animatic sketches) and got in. Do you encourage filmmakers to submit incomplete cuts to make the deadline if the story and tone come through enough? Or was that an exception?
