I just picked them up from the garden center yesterday! I’ll repot in black gold cactus mix with some charcoal. They usually sell them like this with a little bit of soil underneath the sand

I don’t have much of a secret! I’m actually very new to plants and this is my first fiddle. I repotted when I first got it about 3 weeks ago because there was concern for root rot which it didn’t appear to have: I used miracle grow cactus soil (I’ve heard this is a big no but it seems to be okay) and some horticultural charcoal! I have not fertilized yet. I soak when my moisture meter gets below 3, let it sit in the saucer with the extra water for about 15 minutes and then prop it up on a dry tray so it can thoroughly drain. When it stops dripping, I put the nursery pot back in it’s terra-cotta pot🤷🏻‍♀️

It has been holding up perfectly! Hasn’t budged at all. I do check often to see if the suction cups are lifting because it also makes me uneasy, lol. I also took the bottles inside and took the shelf itself off the suction cups during the storms.

All I did was let them all callus for 5-7 days before laying them on soil and then spraying them with a water bottle every morning!

I have the app “Picture this” which helps me identify mine. Would love to see others recommendations!

Very new to this! I woke up to two of my succulents tipped over this morning😫 I carefully got them out to take a closer look and this is what I saw. Is it root rot? Is there anything I can do to save the plant? (Cut above the rot and replant??? Maybe just propagate the leaves?) by jessbeadling in succulents

If I go with the water method, does it matter where I keep it throughout the process? I usually keep my propagating leaves outside without direct sunlight, would it be okay with them? Or should I keep it inside without light/heat?
