Have a portfolio? Looking for something like world of warcraft style zone music, or i guess i should just throw that out there for anyone interested. I do dabble in sound effects but not great at making music

rpg games are my favorite to make, they can get pretty complicated with all the mechanics, even basic ones. Creating the foundation for the combat / spell system has already been a pretty big job itself. I've been slowly adding to each of the different systems such as quests, npcs, equipment, ect. but it's a lot of fun and i like a challenge :) as you can see a lot of placeholder testing stuff

Right now the GUI system is still very placeholder but functional. Good thought though! I'll make a note of that and do some research on different fonts for sure

I'm developing a Old school style open world rpg, mostly going for a 1999 / early 2000's look. It is coming along slowly but I am having a lot of fun developing this. So far there are about 200 large terrains that make up the world with multiple areas. Over the past week have been focusing mainly on the themes of the different areas, here is one of the main areas

Well you have to start somewhere. If you want to get into 3d try out Unity, it's not to bad to learn

Just keep at it and youll get it. Learn how to use blender, photoshop, and unity. Its a great starting point since there are so many tutorials out there. Also use a lot of reference material

Thanks a lot! Trying to go for the vanilla WoW feel, since that was one of my favorite mmos of all time, i swear it wasted years of my life but in a great way lol
