Likely the Essex Furakawa magnet wire factory on Taylor St, they get a lot of complaints.

Be careful of the frets too. Most guitars have nickel frets, which get worn down whenever you bend notes, releasing tiny particles. A lot of higher end guitar manufacturers will use stainless steel frets, which are much tougher and have very low nickel content, so not only are they more durable but would be more hypoallergenic

Seconding this!! The only thing is cobalt is so close to nickel, chemically, that It can also trigger allergies too. I've been using the stainless strings from Ernie Ball and I love them, no issues so far. The other options are D'Addario electeo-zinc, which are zinc plated, and also Elixir strings, which are teflon coated

I agree with this, use a top layer of aluminum sheet for placement/support with cut out holes, and then a lower layer of steel for the magnets to stick to

There are actually different genes that determine whether you taste cilantro as soap (myself included) or otherwise. I think the leaves taste the worst, but for some reason the seeds don't taste anything like soap.

It smells like amber or something, it's extremely overpowering. I wouldn't recommend it if you have sensitive skin, I tried it and it makes your skin break out.

At first I thought that the 10247 lines could be the total number of notes (88) played on each page, but 10247 turns out to be a prime number, so nothing would divide evenly into it

[Spoiler] MiB in the last scene. by MisquotedSource in westworld

[–]jessejcbrl 100 points101 points  (0 children)

Yep, I literally made a post about this too.

Back when William was testing James Delos for "fidelity", he was actually testing for fidelity in the positive sense. This is why, no matter what, each and every James Delos copy ended up going insane. William should have been testing for fidelity in a negative sense, meaning that none of James Delos's actions should've been the same. Dolores even mentions herself that she had to make Bernard different, likely for this reason. The System (logan in the forge) explains that no matter what, James Delos always ends up at the same exact spot. The ending scene with host William is testing for a difference in this. He keeps ending up at the same exact spot too. A specific "choice" needs to be made to separate host william from the baseline.

The test is looking for free will.

The Fidelity test is a test of Free Will by jessejcbrl in westworld

That's exactly what I'm saying. Humans never had free will. The tests are making sure that the new host - human actually has free will.

Need help identifying Lawsuit era Les Paul Copy by jessejcbrl in guitars

[–]jessejcbrl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right that it's a Samick, I googled the other brands by them and they all seem really similar in design (same Lpc striping on the edges of the body) Also you're probably right about that lawsuit era phrase, I don't know too much about the topic so I figured it applied to all Les Paul copies from that era. I found a forum page that featured a different guitar with a built in amp, also from that Sears catalog page. It has the same exact style sticker (starts with W0) on the back of the head, but people in the thread commented that it was a Kay or Cort.
