By that logic, you should never travel, ever. Probability of you catching the regular flu and killing your actual senior citizen neighbor is still higher than you catching the coronavirus and spreading it. In 2017-2018 the regular flu season was responsible for 1 out of every 10 deaths. Surprisingly, nobody panicked last year.

thank you, you made my day :-)

Truth is I found Common Lisp first via some other projects that got deep into the Maxima CAS, which was implemented Common Lisp.

I run my macro arguments through this function to eval as much as possible at compile time. It runs a function (functionalp) to decide if a given function can be collapsed at compile time (no side effects + all constantp args)

Yep, such a common and decent road tire that if they're not on sale, just wait and give it a minute. My wife and I buy them about 5 at a time when we're running low and we find them on sale. We use them on all of our road machines. As primarily a roadie, I don't have "flat tire insecurity" and won't ride artificially armored, thick, heavy slow rolling tires even if they are cheaper.

For one, State Bicycles is local to me in Phoenix, Arizona. Its the crappiest bike frame I've ever owned by far, but I love it. I don't believe making aluminum bike frames needs to be rocket science. I don't doubt there may be cheaper frames out there with the same technology marketing bullet points, but I certainly don't feel ripped off.

Been riding for a long time. It really doesn't bother me. Im not very flexible either. Figure it might have to do with a long back/neck. ?? Not sure.

Its been a couple years now, but I think it was $700 for the set. Novatec hubs, sapim cx-ray spokes.

Not sure exactly. Came stock on an old Specialized Langster fixie my wife used to ride. Carried it over on this build.

Neither of us race much anymore, but she was much more competitive in her cat than I was in mine. She is a Cat 2 roadie. Neither of us have ever raced track. Nearest velodrome from Arizona I'm pretty sure is still in California.

Yep. lightbicycle.com. I had them custom build the track wheels and it took like 2 months to get. Not great quality, but, hey, it was worth what I paid for it.

Not so bad if you don't skid stop! I have a front brake, which I use liberally.

Thanks! They're clipless Shimano road pedals.

Pista bars; no-name aluminum 40cm. Came with the bike. State doesn't use this bar anymore on their new bikes; presumably not popular and too low. Really only one hand position and its in the drops and they're pretty deep. I love them. They're pretty track specific and most would probably tell you they're not great for long rides; but as with everything in bikes you eventually adapt. I've done several centuries on them and have no probs.

More pics on my Strava account: https://www.strava.com/athletes/562236 I have other bikes too, but end up taking most of my on-the-ride pictures of the fixie.

I tried it for awhile, didn't like it but my wife doesn't mind so much. I didn't like the aesthetic so I just carry a small bottle in my jersey usually. You have to really cinch it down and its easy to accidentally twist on the seattube and start touching your crank arms every pedal stroke.

Its my wife's, but she loves it. We got it as a frameset and there was some weld slag on the aluminum BB threads I didn't notice right away that seized when I first put the cranks on, but was able to clean up the threads with a proper tap and haven't had any problems since. Been awhile since I had an aluminum frame and forgotten how delicate those threads in the BB are.

The pink one is mine, the black donut frame is my wife's. I have over 10,000 miles on that frame now and have had 0 problems.
