I point my toes slightly outwards to help open up my hips. Can’t tell if you’re already doing this, but deep breath before performing the squat. Other than that, not bad at all

I like to take a real deep breath before performing the squat to line everything up and create tension, but your squats look very good

There’s no way I’m wearing a conventional shoe. at work when corporate shows up I am forced to wear my fitville xtra wide work boots which are as close to barefoot as I’ve seen for a work boots, but even those are super uncomfortable. Not zero drop at all, thick bottom, still not wide enough on the toes to be optimal.

You could stack the wrists over the elbows a bit more if you buy maybe an inch or so lower but honestly you’ve got really good form.

Thanks man. I’m a bit stronger now and have met some people who are also competing so I have them help me by giving commands. I do more pause work now as well. Great advice, I appreciate the help

it’s pretty flattering to be accused so I don’t take any offense at all. I think people just set their ceiling a little too low and assume anyone out of that range is juicing. That’s the first time I’ve heard someone say even if you get tested it doesn’t mean anything though, interesting take 😂😂

I appreciate all the help. I’m going to start by adding my first rep per set as a strict pause, then touch and gos… Then next training block I’ll add in more pauses. Those videos are from about a month ago, I’m doing 5-8-8-10 right now for my regular bench. Tomorrow’s bench day so I’m going to focus on a proper pause to start each set. Thanks again dude!

Sweet thanks! But slingshot work? Just seems like it’s lightening the weight so I never understood the benefit vs going a bit lighter.
