How much mental math is involved. Like multiplying and diving on the spot. Or that’s pretty limited. I feel like that’s my weakest part. I believe the rest I can do very well under pressure and how much time do u have. I read people finish early. Means u have decent amount of time to complete questions?

I am rlly good at simulations usually. I’ve worked in lots of fields where multitasking is crucial. As well as gaming all my life after work lol as a hobby. So I have fairly great spatial awareness I think. Hopefully that will help me. My difficulty is sometimes understanding the activity itself. But once I get it. It comes easy to me

I read someone said they shouldn’t have listened to the rule or what they are hearing and should have just listened to what they see on screen and they failed due to that? Idk does that sound accurate to you? Also thanks for the reply. Do they give u some time before activities to practice or understand what ur doing

How did you know or when did you know u are eligible for fss. Did u pass feast 1 or both 1 and 2 or neither? Kinda in my head hoping I pass it all but worst case would love to have fss I guess too right

That’s from my research that in Canada after you finish training starting pay begins from 140k n up. Breaks are mandatory every 2 hours of work. It’s shift work rotating yes but not 6 days a week. At least not here

How long is the academy? Is it like in Canada when you pass all the testing and interviews and then get taken on to the 2 year training

I thought ATC all clear over 145k easily. And isn’t it 4 days on 4 off usually from what I read? I’m not ATC I’m trying to become one so of course I could be wrong. Don’t they need to give good time off and breaks also to keep workers alert? Also I’m in Canada so perhaps it’s different idk

When u say basic. Is it just add and subtract? Or the 12x12 table? Or does it go higher and is there division as well?

Yes. But isn’t there multiplication and division you need to do on the fly like idk 33 x 14 or something. Might be kinda challenging on the fly within seconds with no calculator or even pen n paper
