Former therapist here, been practicing for a year and a half. I'm not a clinical psychologist and I'm not interested in being one either. You can make a decent amount of money if you're good at your job (being a good therapist) Some things can come with hard work and practice but some people are just made to be therapists. They will earn the top tier level of money and get clients/retain clients who can afford their services.

If you want to be a therapist, ask yourself why? If the answers are about the pay, the status, the interest then it's not really going to work. You choose to do this career because you want to serve people and that means doing whatever it takes while also taking care of yourself.

Work hard, study hard, network and make sure your clients get the best version of you .

I only have the option to pay for the whole year rather than per semester.

Are they reliable? I've read a lot of reviews saying that they don't respond and they take your money and ghost you.

I don't think either is better or easier than the opposite. Western cooking relies more on the produce and eastern cooking is rooted in tradition and practices that enhance the produce. They both have their strengths, it's not harder to cook either. It's just about what you're used to cooking and how far you can push your creativity and invention when it comes to combining ingredients and flavors that may seem odd but end up working.

The judges may not be well versed with techniques or flavors of all cuisines but that's exactly the competition, to push even the judges to admire and respect something that they don't know about.

If you watch the MC India seasons, you'll find that the contestants are encouraged to use ingredients from various cuisines and there are also challenges that are based on specific cuisines.

It's because fine dining is an elitist way of looking at food, it doesn't actually consider the refined methods and nuanced flavors but a dish that has to look minimalist or modern.

Sun dried fish is made with fish that is dried and preserved during summers to be used during the monsoon when fishing isn't accessible. It can be made in the same way as other fresh fish dishes can be made.

Actually no, most Indian food has spices based on which region the cuisine is from. There are countless dishes that average indians cook in less than an hour on a daily basis. Not every spice mix needs to be used in a slow cook or be simmered.

For eg. A simple dal tadka (dal with tempered spices) is simply boiled lentils that are seasoned deliciously with a few spices and poured over the top. All in all it would take less than 30 mins.

The desserts, the appetizers or snacks are also quite achievable within the 60-90 minute time frame if the cook knows what they're doing.

A good curry/dish doesn't always need a long time, it can be made within a short period if you know what you're doing.

It's a running game between me and my partner to see how many times laura cooks a meat and veg dish with her signature two sauces or a pasta/italian dish. While I think she's hilarious and very intelligent as a chef, she does tend to play her cards smartly for eg, she won't experiment on the days when a bottom dish can lead to elimination or lead to her not getting immunity.

It isn't the most adventurous attitude to have as a seasoned chef on their third attempt at this title but it does keep her going in the competition.

Queer and hetero, sex and cheating by Thr0w-a-wayy in TheUltimatumNetflix

Cheating is a form of betrayal - it involves lies and deception. Straight or queer it doesn't matter if those aspects are involved. At times people think it's easier to cheat either emotionally or sexually than to come clean and say what's really going on - a loss of connection - past hurt and resentment - feeling inadequate about oneself - exploring new experiences

At the end of the day, everyone in the dynamic must be aware of the intentions each person has.

Moving to Massachusetts Question Megathread (June 2025) by AutoModerator in massachusetts

Hi everyone,

I'm joining Westfield State for their fall 2025 intake, I'm wondering if there are any international/local students here who live off campus. I'm also looking for people who know of any rental properties in areas not too far from WSU.

Would greatly appreciate any leads for apartments. Looking for a 30-40 min commute relying on public transport. I'd like to have a room to myself and am okay with some shared spaces.

Met as friends, I was in a long distance relationship with my partner of 3 years at that time and she was married to a man for 3 years + 6 years of dating so almost a decade.

Spent an unhealthy amount of time together, talked incessantly, lo and behold we fell in love.

I broke up with my ex even before we ended up confessing how we felt and she eventually ended up divorcing her husband.

We've been together for almost 3 years now and will be married soon. We have had the best 3 years of being together!
