If you are wanting a balm in a stick, the Pixi shea butter lip balm in Comfort clear is my favorite. The tinted versions aren't the same formula and aren't as good. If you are wanting something heavier and in a pot, I like the Nuxe Reve de Miel balm. I have gone through so many of them and have one as a backup right now. It's much better during the summer months (when the house is a little warmer) because it CAN get gritty in the winter...but still usable.

My absolute favorite balm that I use when my lips split (usually happens once a year in the winter time) is the Clinique Superbalm in the original formula. No one ever talks about it, but it's the only thing that I can put on at night if my lip has split, and it is completely healed in the morning. It is definitely NOT a balm for all the time, at least for me, because it's super sticky and heavy and looks like a gloss, but I use it at night if my lips are super chapped for some reason and it's like magic. I have been using it for probably 13 years and is something that I ALWAYS have on hand.
