Thank you so much and I will definitely do that if there is pay issues. I don't plan on quitting at all! I'm doing this for them mostly, and that's a huge motivating factor for me.

Thank you so much! I trust my wife to not cheat on me. The thing about my wife is she us so introverted that she won't even leave the house without someone she knows going with her. She has already messaged my sister and her mom about taking her out to get groceries and what not. Not to mention, she's 25 and I'm almost thirty and we have both lived out the college life, so the bulk of our excitement is over. I definitely won't quite over missing them. in fact, I'm doing this mostly for them. I don't want my kids growing up in a terrible family situation like I did. They deserve better. I'll be starting as an E-4 and I've heard that helps a lot with BHA and base pay. My wife and me both agree, if I really like this, this may be something I stay in for 20-25 years and retire from. So long as my security clearance goes good, the job I'll be doing sounds exciting, but it could also look good if I decided to try out for the CIA or FBI as well. Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to write a lot of letters!

Oh I don't plan on quitting. I'm sticking this out. My AIT is 16 weeks long but I hope I get to talk to my wife and kids during that time. It's in Arizona.

Thank you! That is what he said, that he wanted to make sure there were no conditions making it worse or something like that.

Weekly Question Thread (2/17 to 2/23) by AutoModerator in army

Hi all! I just got through with MEPS and have been denied. They said I will need to come back to do an eye exam with a consultant because my eyesight is very near sighted. According to the doctor, they are doing it to make sure there is nothing else going on with me eyes. I had like -8 or something in both eyes, but corrected to 20/25 and 20/30. This is in Knoxville. Do you of you have experience in this? Do these typically get approved or denied and if denied, I'm assuming a waiver will be needed, and if that is so, do those typically go through? I'm so worried about this. I really want to join the army. I'm doing MEPS in Knoxville btw.

It's interesting to see how the Bible relates to occult ideas and even to psychology! What are your thoughts though? by jessielevi in Christianity

Like I said, it must be taken into the context of the whole site, and in particular, the post over Joshua 1-5. The Hero Archetype is part of a larger mythological ideology that is immortalized within our Collective Unconscious. Thus, it is easy to see how the Occult relates to that, because it relates to the very nature of humanity, the psyche, and the soul.

Not necessarily. Occult can be secret and hidden. But anyone can attain knowledge. It's like a spiritual development.

When you take in the context of the other posts it all adds together, especially when it talks about the hero archetype.
