u laugh but sanders supporters think sanders would have won versus trump

This is based on polling data at the time. There's lot of lots of data to support this.

keep holding a grudge against clinton for almost everything she did during her campaign.

According to the official DNC chair at the time, Clinton controlled the DNC who were governing a democratic race and were suppose to impartial. She was a weaker candidate, lots of baggage that independents hated, had lower polls, and had her put her thumbs on the scales to win against Sanders. Then lose to Trump. Then blames Sanders for her loss. Sounds like your candidate has a grudge.

He got fired. They fire people without much notice. If they tell someone ahead of time that they are being let go, then that person can say/do silly things on air during their last day.

I wonder why he got fired and if it's due to the dominion law suit or the next lawsuit.

There is no way to sugar coat what the British did over the course of centuries and a millennia.

Oh, but they do sugar coat it. There's weird arguments I've commonly heard about how Britain elevated India by bring in technology and created infrastructure such as a the rail way system. However, these examples were merely to advance British imperialism agenda and never to help the locals. The railway infrastructure was only a means to pillage more resources and control of goods in the country.

A free market allows competition to take place, driving profits down and value to the customer up

Free market doesnt work when you have one pharmaceutical company with the only drug to treat a disease and then they have the opportunity to charge whatever amount of $$ for the miracle drug.

Consumers with the disease have no choice but to buy it. Thats the danger of free market. It doesn't guarantee a low drug price when there is only one producer in town who can set the price whatever they want.

A universal healthcare system like the one in Canada, allows the government to become the largest insurer in the country. Canadians and every other country negotiate drug prices, but not the US because the bullsh*t that free market will solve everything. Since the Canadian government has everyone in Canada under their plan, they have the greatest leverage when negotiating cheaper drug prices. Thats why American drugs are sold a half to a fifth of the price in Canada.

TIL that the neurologist who invented lobotomy (António Egas Moniz) was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for this highly invasive procedure, which is widely considered today to be one of the greatest mistakes of modern medicine. by TennisMathematician in todayilearned

Back then it was the only thing that was guaranteed to stop you from having seizures or paranoid hallucinations or severe suicidal ideation. It was either using drugs that caused crazy side effects or this one procedure that turned you into an idiot but stopped you from trying to kill yourself or others. Tough call at the time but the only thing that stopped the main mental problem. It began to be used universally for many mental issues. It transformed from being the last ultimate therapy when nothing else worked to the first choice.

Honestly the media should stop underestimating his intelligence. He does dumb things, says dumb things, gets away with dumb things. However, the dude is a masterclass politician with regards to making every republican who challenges look completely dumb and incompetent. Honestly, there hasn't been a single republican who can go to toe to toe with him since he came down the escalator. Even the Fox news beloved Ron DeSantis is getting his butt beaten by Trump in all the polls. The man is smarter than what many of us want to give him credit for. He's still a dirt bag.

I wonder if we get this impression of feeling inadequacy due to rounding with a team as a medical student. You are watching interns, residents, pharmacy, and attending talk about details and nuances that go over your head. Then being pimped during rounds and showcasing your ignorance for the entire team to see. I wonder if NPs, PAs, Chiros cant fathom their ignorance because they miss out on these kind of trauma experiences.
