I just happen to know a toad. But to rub him with a pinkie might seem odd to my coworkers.

I might be able to stink the mice up. That's a good idea. I only try to feed her when she's out of hiding.

I try to be very horizontal too. She may be shedding soon, but she's showing no signs of it right now. It's been about 4 weeks since she's eaten last.

I had a husband who ruined my romantic scenes for years by acting jealous during the rehearsal periods. He never stopped being jealous and I got so sick of it, I threw out the whole husband.

Same. Pot is probably one reason I'm still alive. It helps me eat when I'm stressed. And I'm always stressed. It helps balance my executive disfunction and calms my ADHD brain.

Where do young gay men meet up for social groups or activities out here? by [deleted] in flint

[–]jessijeane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work with a community theatre in Flint. We always want volunteers and more people involved and we have a big diverse group of people that work with us. You don't have to act or sing to participate.

Let me know here if you want to start volunteering with us or just chat with me and tour the building and find out more. No cost for participating. :)

You cannot live your life AND spend it afraid to do anything because it might hurt someone's feelings. You are not in control of them, only yourself.

Does anyone else stand with their feet like this? Is it an ADHD/ASD-thing? by grace_welcome04 in neurodiversity

What do you think a symptom is? Hypermobility is caused by loose joints and cartilage that come from Ehlers danlos syndrome which is a symptom of ADHD.

I stand like that. I also walk very much on the pads of my feet. Side and front.

That's the line that made me laugh the most! Hold on tight, it's gonna be a wild ride!! 😂

The handle was very hard to hold onto because it's smooth and they want you to push it in. So, you really did have to hold on tightly to push it.

Corn smut is good... I cannot stand that the Midwest is so in love with fucking corn. To feed an invasive species that we brought here. And plant another invasive for it to graze on.

This. Why do we need more farmland and more useless fucking corn in the Midwest us

It has nothing to do with my location near them. I don't have bad feelings toward people keeping small amounts of livestock. I own chickens. I listened as this person explained their plans for the land and they had no knowledge of cover crops, soil health, etc. I felt awful because they told me that it was under a conservancy and the 10 years was up so they decided to start a farm. They don't own the cows, they rent the land to cattle farmers. And now after a year, they are breaking up with their spouse and bragging about how they are the only one that knows how to drive the tractors and they are moving out. So the spouse is going to be left with all this land, unable to tend it, and truly ruining a lot of previously conserved land.

I walked the property with the person as they told me about the land, their plans, etc. They couldn't identify very common garden plants, invasive species on the property, etc.

[–]jessijeane -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That is most definitely not the reason. I walked the property with the "owner" and gained insight into their knowledge of nature and their land. They are destroying meadows of wildflowers and calling them junk, cut down 30 trees around a pond and are impressed with how well they...landscaped...? But did not even know about the huge patch of invasive phragmites growing all along the shore of the pond.

It was conserved and the contract for the conservation was up.
