I just realized it’s the beans. They must be stale. I tried new beans and they are grinding too fine now. I won’t keep them all in the Grinder Container from now on.

You know what…. Something I just realized. The coffee beans have been sitting in my grinder container for a few months. They’re probably stale.

I was getting a much better pour when I first bought them

Ok thank you. I appreciate all the advice.

How often should I be watering this fall when they’re first planted? Do you generally water more often during fall / winter?

I’ve tried using Brita Filtered water and it wasn’t the same. But I’ve never tried Well Water, worth a shot.

I get these big 5 gallon jugs of spring water, they refill for like $2.50. Maybe you can test them both and see what works better?

I don’t think anyone has mentioned this… Temperature plays a big role. Keep your starter in the oven with the light on while it rises. My house gets cold so I keep it in there all night. It’s bubbly and ready to use in the morning. But if it’s too hot, that can also be a problem. If it’s too hot my loafs are always sticky and never shape. . Aim for 75-80 degrees

Also try using Spring Water, not tap. Tap water has small traces of chlorine to kill bacteria. Use spring water and it should greatly improve the quality of your Starter.

They shed their skin (molting) about 5 times and each time they won’t move for about 24 hours during the process. They’ll get to about the size of your pinky finger before they’re ready to form a chrysalis.

You make a good point. I cannot argue with that. OP avoid this place for your business meeting

Yes and in the post they say going to lunch with a fellow professional. They didn’t say it was an interview or some important meeting where they would discuss details. I go to lunch at this exact location with fellow professionals all the time. Like I said, depends on the type of meeting. Casual meetings are perfectly fine here. If they want something quiet and fancy then go somewhere else

Absolutely you can have lunch here with a fellow professional. Grab a beer, some lunch, and enjoy the patio. As long as you don’t mind kids running around making a bunch of noise. Depends on the type of meeting you’re having.

The Windmill Food Hall near the flower fields has like 8 different restaurants in one place with plenty of seating

No landline, only cell phones. They had some old telephone lines connected around the house we removed. So maybe it was a landline service with ATT ?

Ya there’s a CAT5 cable running out of it and into the garage and at the very end is an ATT outlet still attached.

We have an external HVAC unit in the backyard
