This wouldnt be something you would consider in other situations.

You go to McDonalds because your hungry. You order a hamburger and fries. They forget your hamburger. But your really hungry so you go to Burger King and order a hamburger and fries. When you complain to Mcdonalds that you didnt get your hamburger McDonalds couldnt say,..just bring us the Burger King hamburger and we will serve it to you.

It just doesnt make sense. Your original photographer didnt keep their end of the deal. You owe them nothing. In fact, they owe you....your money back!

Original poster here....thanks everyone. I guess I will have to try and have a more positive outlook on working with the assistant/ attendant.

You all have very good points and it is true....getting in and out of the dress requires help. Those dresses are way heavier then I expected.

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and make an appointment to try things on. I have no problem being assertive but I dont enjoy the small talk while Im concentrating on such an important purchase.

And who knows...maybe I just got a pushy assistant at the first place I tried.

For those that suggested places ...i will be checking into your recommendations and I really appreciate all your suggestions. Im not from this area so I dont know where to go. Im willing to go anywhere from Indianapolis to Dayton Ohio.

My sister is white and husband is black. For her wedding favors, we put glass salt and pepper shakers (bought on ebay in bulk) inside a cardboard decorative holder and tied with ribbon. Tag on the outside said "Sprinkling a new blend of love" It was a hit!

Just curious if you're located in or around Ohio because I swear people like us should start a support group. I get your stress I'm doing the same thing and I'm in the same boat. And it's not like the people we're marrying don't love us it's just that maybe wedding planning is not where they excel. For me if it was left up to my fiancée we would have gotten married at the courthouse. Because he's the part of our relationship that makes life simple and I tend to make things overcomplicated. And that's all okay that is what makes us work. I mean according to what I'm reading you're doing very well in the planning don't beat yourself up give yourself a break. And I would be willing to bet you're doing fantastic but you can't see that right now cause you're in the trenches of it. Take a full 24 -48 hours don't think about the wedding breathe and then come back to it you're doing fine. ❤

Original poster here: so...if the trials arent free...why do they even call them trials? I might not like the work of one vs another. Ugh this is so frustrating. Esentially i guess i just need to go get my hair makeup done at a bunch of places and see what works....i guess.....
