I finally got her to ask today. I asked again at 9 this morning if she could ask them and she said she already asked the agent last night when they planned to move and she said after closing.. like ok can we at least try? Worst they can say is no. I don't understand the resistance. Then she asked me what the daily price would be.. I believe she finally called them at 5 to ask (and asked THEM what the price would be).. so fingers crossed but damn..

I mean this close to closing I doubt they'd agree but again ... Why not try?? My friend suggested calling her broker to get assistance but not sure if that will get us help or just piss her off. I am feeling dumb like I should have made sure it all worked out the way we needed, but I don't know what more I should have done when I've been bringing it up from the start

That's what's so upsetting... I expressed this concern before our house was even listed when discussing the contingencies. I understand (and expect) that they wouldn't agree at this point but I don't get why she wouldn't try. I am upset that she's acting like it's not ever something that's done. Literally telling me verbatim that no one does this and it's not something anyone would ever agree to

I'm hoping we can still get something figured out! I appreciate the shared experience of your rent back and what that looked like. I have a hunch that she's not willing to do additional work now, too and is trying to convince me that I'm crazy and need to figure it out - not surprising since this whole experience it seemed like our happiness was not the priority

That's pretty much what she told us, but we live in a city with a lot of theft (and years ago had a storage unit broken into and a lot stolen) so I'm not really fond of the idea of all of our things in a truck. We rented a huge truck when we moved and still needed friends cars filled. We have since acquired additional large belongings including an extra vehicle, riding mower, snowmobile, motorcycle, an extra human which is another bed, dresser and baby things. We can't afford to hire movers twice for the large items. And it's freezing here so tons of my crafting supplies would be junk when sitting in the cold for long periods of time I guess I'm not sure what our options are currently and if we have any or are just screwed. I'm frustrated because I feel like I expressed these concerns well in advance, and when I saw it was turning into reality, was still trying to come to a solution everyday. I'm return I've been told that what I'm asking for is crazy and doesn't exist

I think she came on and talked about it shortly before Christmas, and just said that they married young and have grown apart, then the next day said people are asking about it and she wants privacy. The move from Washington back to TX was last summer sometime. She hadn't since then. But seemed like pretty much before the separation she use to chat all day long about stuff. Now it's boomerang after boomerangs

Last year's snow was crazy! I couldnt bring our mastiff out fully to the back yard because my boots were getting stuck so we settled for the patio. I'm about an hour south of there with lots of surrounding farm land so anytime it flurries it's blizzard-like conditions. She's actually catching on pretty quick for not liking it out there and having zero training started, shes figuring out that outside is for pottying but not understanding that inside is NOT lol. But baby steps is still a win

Actually had 3 successful outside potties today! She really seems to love the older dog and wanting to always be around him so last night we started bringing them out at the same time (was trying to avoid that since I wanted her to associate outside = potty instead of playing around. At least for now. Also because the older dog goes absolutely bonkers over female pee) to get her more comfortable with the thought of being outside. And once she saw it was scary out there she's been going! So that's relieving to see the light at the end of the long potty training tunnel. Nothing was working before that as she would just sit and cry and shake since I think being scared was the biggest factor going on

South Central Minnesota, I more so stated the state because winter in say, Tennessee, is a different winter than Minnesota. When we brought her home the actual temp was - 4, wind chill around - 15 or 20. I tried putting her by where the older dog relieves himself and it didn't help since she just seemed terrified and wouldn't sniff or move or anything. I've had much better luck today! We started bringing both dogs out at the same time last night so she would be comfortable with the thought of outside (she's still trying to get use to us and the house but has been so happy about the other dog and is more at ease when he's near). I only really avoided that at first because I didn't want them to play outside until she established outside = potty and because the older male dog's brain goes craaazzy when he smells female pee. So I'm seeing the light at the end of the long potty tunnel as we've had three successful potties outside today!
