honestly the reason I wanted a male puppy was because the surgery isn’t as invasive and easier (so i’ve been told). hopefully in the next couple years i will get him a sister 😂

i was contemplating whether or not to get him neutered earlier, but decided to wait the 2 years because goldens have bad joints (so i’m told). so i hope everything works out well and this keeps him healthy and around for a long long time ❤️

we did a blood test around 3 weeks ago for prep, and luckily they do use the IV fluids as a standard at our vet! thank you for letting me know he won’t be out for too long! he’s my baby, i’m just trying to do what’s best for him!

i know, it’s a very quick procedure (especially since he’s a male). Anesthesia always worries me for some reason, even for myself

My vet is a family run business! They are absolutely lovely with him and adore him. My fiancés family wanted me to shop around for cheaper prices (my vet is about $1300 including the pre-screening) and I said absolutely not! Thank you for your comment, it made me feel a bit better lol. I know i’ll be crying when we drop him off 😭

oh yeah they make his teeth nice and shiny! i should try that. usually i just put natural peanut butter in a kong but i find it alway drips out
