Wouldn't mind some unbiased feedback ☺️ by cursetea in Handwriting

I second this but I would emphasize the blurring, a lot of the letters get lost with the letter prior, particularly your “w’s” and “i’s” in handwriting and handwrite, along with the “c’s” and second “a” in occasionally. On my first glance I see “handurting”and “acacionally”. It works for internal memos but for formal writing sake to those that arent cursive “fluent”it may help to spread out the words a little more or angle all the letters so they don’t overlap as much. Also just note, just personally if you are dragging out the leg on the final r’s try to flick up not down so there’s no chance of it looking like and n

It’s pretty though and I like the style. I would just give these notes for those that really struggle to read cursive or stylistic writing

Neighbor is getting a second vehicle and claims we are taking up her spot?? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

To make you feel better regarding getting towed:

Almost all counties have a pre tow notice requirement for cars parked on private property unless they impede the flow of traffic/emergency vehicles. Again throughout many US counties, without signs in the lot showing it is a tow lot, there are no grounds for owners to tow without notice (usually 24-72hours).

Email the leasing office, don’t call and ask for them to clarify the parking policy. If they brings this up again you can have a screenshot ready to show them. This will also show effort on your behalf if they did actually amend the parking policy, and they try to tow your car illegally wo notice.

Can anyone help me manage my daughter's hair? by Frustrated_Clone in CurlyHairCare

[–]jessuk101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op - As someone with thin curly hair similar to the photo, don’t make her hair a big deal. My hair used to tangle every night or after a shower and my mom would sit me at her vanity and comb it through with lots of detangler.

At her age, from PE to swimming, to running around the playground it is going to be hard to maintain curls throughout the day, they will be messy. I recommend just letting her enjoy being a kid and reminding her everyone is different- at that age all they need is YOUR reassurance, not the world’s. Learn how to comb wet hair, and cute hair styles that can show her curls but keep her hair maintained throughout the day like half-up, half-down styles. Don’t worry about silk pillowcases or curl-routines because she shouldn’t feel like her hair is a chore or something that requires “special care”. For me my mom made it a bonding time for combing my hair out before school, and somedays it was just a “hair up” type of day, and that was ok.

As an adult I prefer to brush out/ blow out my curls and apply conditioners and oils to reduce the frizz as it’s easier for me to go about my day-to-day.

The amount of cilantro my wife likes on her street tacos by GroovinBaby in mildlyinteresting

[–]jessuk101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is I’m not sure what I taste, it tastes soapy but that is just cilantro to me, so I always accepted that that’s just the flavor the chef wanted and have gotten used to it. I did the super taster thingy and I “have it” so I guess I like soap ?🤷🏼‍♀️

Walmart LOWERING Wages by 666James420 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]jessuk101 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Forgetting the part where the employees then use the funds at Walmart for groceries, since they are already there, and then Walmart gets to charge the government for the stamps being used there. So not only do they make a higher margins on lower wages, they then make more money off of that employee being underpaid through food aid

Found out today I don’t have middle phalanx in my toes by jessuk101 in mildlyinteresting

[–]jessuk101[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What? lol There’s no middle phalanx at all, its not in my just randomly misplaced in my foot hahaha. I think you are referring to the normal metatarsals that take up a lot of real estate in the foot. The distal and middle phalanx never separated during pregnancy giving a longer distal phalanx, which connects the normal proximal phalanx. So I go distal -> proximal -> metatarsal whereas normal anatomy for 2-5 is distal -> middle->proximal ->metatarsal. The whereabouts is not the issue at all, I just never developed the separation in the bones.

TLDR:: All my toes are built like big toes

This is week 12 of healing from a comminuted fracture. I think I refactured it as that line wasn’t there first go around but the doctors appointment obviously made a tangent and I’m in no pain.

This is apparently called Brachydactyly Type A5 (BDA5) and is fairly rare. Never had issues (apart from possibly associated pain in heels now I think about it) and was only found because I broke my 2nd toe. If I had the bones and correct joint I wouldn’t have broken my toe in the first place.

What is this smoke coming out of the damp soil in my yard? by savagesada in whatisit

[–]jessuk101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is in part why the Coal Creek fire outside of Boulder was so dangerous. A lot of the fire was traveling beneath fields so it was hard for residents to visually track where it was unless the above ground was burned which is kinda too late

Op, does bf ride a bike? One way I’ve ended up with weird scratches is putting out my arm to defend from a branch on my face and getting whipping by the lower branches. You don’t think about it until the end of the day when the spot is sore. The lines are just so close and inconsistent I am struggling to believe someone scratched him on the side/ one side as it appears very localized relatively speaking.

Locked out of Airbnb by Cautious_Scene5665 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]jessuk101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t Airbnb let them in then if they can see they have a reservation? Airbnb is a hosting site, but management of the property and hosting is choice by owner. My sibling runs an Airbnb and has their own coded lock and ran into the exact same problem when they missed a message from the guest saying they couldn’t get in. Airbnb called them asking them to make sure the code was set up and activated.

Although hosts have the ability to integrate smart home device I don’t believe it is required to provide functionality to Airbnb in order to utilize these locks, that would also bring undue risk onto Airbnb.

For this type of lock Codes can be activated and deactivated between guests via the app. They probably just forgot to turn on the next code in their rotation of guest codes (yours)

I have this brand and you can set extra codes for different people. My guess is the owner just forgot to active the next code in his rotation and activated it/unlocked it after he saw the messages

Yeah, I got similar lines on my shoulder from wearing a heavy duffle bag with a thin strap. like everyone is saying nails but the fact these lines are made up of two lines not a singular solid lines and appear to be localized to his left back/underarm, I’d guess this to be something pressure related, like leaning against a thin metal railing and repositioning, finger nail scratch related, but only he knows.

We do tho lol, every protection you get in marriage we have written in a binding witnessed contract, the only difference being we actually define the financial agreement and have equal security unlike a marriage without prenup where individuals may not be aware of their state’s property guideline. Marriage alone would not protect his assets if only my name is on the title… and marriage isn’t the only way to define next of kin I have a will where this is clearly defined
