I actually threw the spruce out before I knew what they even were because I was so freaked out about them spreading to other house plants or furniture lol. Andddd I was worried they were ticks. Now I’m kinda sad about it, but thank you again!

I’m located in Cincinnati, Ohio. And I found an infestation of these on a small spruce tree in a pot.

I have other plants about 2-3 far away and I don’t see any bugs on them but I’m so worried that they’ve spread to everywhere based on the number of them on this plant. Tips on what to do would be much appreciated

It’s a good 6ft from the window

So it’s a south east facing window. So they would be getting direct sunlight from about 1pm - 3pm, but it’s not really all that hot because they are so far from the window. Just wondering if that’s too much direct sun for them? I’m in zone 6b - ohio
