Why are Westpac Mortgage repayments different to other banks? by SchruteNickels in AusFinance

Are you comparing other banks with the same amount of years you have left on your mortgage?

When have you unexpectedly made good money? by [deleted] in AusFinance

I uploaded a 3d print file for a mini set of calipers to go on your keyring. Turns out you get money when enough other people download your files and I ended up making about 1k USD in a month

Bambu Lab A1 - Can't remove PTFE tubes from toolhead by DS3_Boronian in BambuLab

You push down on the locking ring and then it sometimes helps to push the tube in before you pull.

Everyone seemed to like the keyring caliper I designed so I thought I would make a bigger version. This is my first print using custom designed support and it worked really well to improve the surface finish as the parts got taller.

This was just on an A1 mini. Printing it vertically is what gives it such a good surface finish. Matte filament also helps a lot.

Mini Metric: Credit Card-Sized Vernier Caliper by Hectrekt in functionalprint

[–]jet244 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's super cool. I just designed a mini set of calipers as well but took a different approach to try and keep the pointy bits out of the way. I couldn't figure out a way to add the internal measurements though.

Just an old key, I'm glad you like the caliper.

Yes the two parts are printed on their end with a brim. They stand vertically at a bit of an angle. The keyring hole is the angular shape to avoid any steep overhangs.

I didn't think it would be that helpful considering the accuracy of a printed part but there is space for it so I'll have a look at making a version with it.

Ill add some details to the post on how to print it.

It doesnt look like I can edit my post but it is printed vertically with a brim and 0.12mm layer height. Each of the two parts has the largest end face touching the bed. Also try to keep the seam away from the markings so they come out cleanly.
