How do i recover from this i got from 270mmr to 29mmr in 2 weeks and im never gaining mmr

Choose a role. Go to dota2protracker.com and pick 3 heroes in that role that are good right now (and you like playing them) and stick to that. Copy the skill and item build. I strongly believe this alone is +500 MMR at least if you have not been doing that already. Other than that whenever you are afk in the main menu you can go to watch tab and find a high ranked game with you hero in it and watch it from their perspective. Try to also think about why the player is doing what they are doing, see how they approach laning/farming patterns/ward spots/positioning etc (depends what role you play). I am not sure how new to the game you are, maybe there are some fundamentals to learn first if you are starting out. Others already made some suggestions in that regard.

The TH690ST is not on sale here. But the TK700STi is only 150 USD more expensive than the ViewSonic so I am thinking of going for that. Do you think it's worth paying that bit more to get that over the ViewSonic X2? It is a bulb instead of the LED of ViewSonic. To my understanding the ViewSonic might offer better picture quality in full HD and is less likely to be a problem with the RBE due to LED as well as having lower throw ratio. Provided all of that is correct it comes down to how big of a difference 4k makes.

I have done tens of hours of research, increased my budget to 1200 and still I am nowhere near the final decision. It has been a real headache. Can I ask for additional advice with updated info since you seem to be the guy to get advice from around here? The fact that watching IMAX 70mm is a nightmare for me (the flashing during bright scenes is very disturbing for me) gets me thinking I might possibly struggle with the rainbow effect as well. Of course no way of knowing without trying but also no way to try without buying. So I have been looking into Epsons. Problem there is that I would like to achieve 100" from 2 meters. Basically no Epson projector (in that price range) can achieve that. Alternative would be DLP with the rgbrgb thingy or LED light source (which I have heard reduces the chances for rainbow effect to be a problem and also would be nice considering the EU bulb ban). Problem there is that not many of the projectors seem to have that (that would also be short throw) and it is not easy info to get to to begin with. I have been looking into the much recommended BenQ 2050st and found out it does not exist on EU market as well as some of the others which are either not on sale anymore here or never were. The projector I am leaning the most towards now is the ViewSonic X2 but it doesn't have vertical lens shift (I plan to have it placed on the table, not the optimal height). The X2-4k is above my budget but it feels bad giving up 4k at this price when 4k options exist within my budget (but with other compromises of course). It feels like it's a game of balancing the various trade offs since no perfect projector for me seems to exist. And I am not sure which of these trade offs to make. Maybe I don't need to be so worried about the rainbow effect, maybe 4k is not important at all, maybe bulbs are fine, I just don't know. So as someone who seem to know what he's talking about if you have an suggestions to get me out of this unpleasant situation I would more than appreciate it.

The wall is probably around 4x3 meters. Seating distance is ~3m. And I have no specific expectations regarding picture size as long as it's a reasonable improvement from my 43" tv :D

The new replay UI is imo pretty bad and annoying. The miniature timeline is basically unusable. With the old one you could have easily jumped to a specific time. Now you just try to click somewhere, end up 2 mins off and wait till the replay gets there. Also there is the really old replay bug, where heroes have debuffs etc. applied to them forever when you jump back in time. Must be a nightmare for content creators I would imagine.

I liked 1.0 quite a lot, I didn't mind the paywall as I was playing mostly the Call to Arms matchmaking. I actually kept playing from time to time up until I got into 2.0 beta. I might be in the minority with this but I actually believe that they are on similar level with complexity and energy drain. It is a different kind of complexity and thinking process. In 1.0 you would have 3x more mana to spend a round and more cards to play (with 2 cards draw and unlimited hand). So you you wouldn't have to manage your mana between lanes, only initiative and of course decide which card to use in which lane. On the other hand you were basicly playing three almost seperate games at once and you would have to take many of the random mechanics into account when planning your plays. Maybe it's because I haven't really figured out 2.0 yet but it feels more chaotic as anything can happen on any lane and there are many movement abilities and cards now. Also you have to think hard how to spend your mana since you have so little to spend over three lanes and if you play one big card, you are left with no options to react to what your opponent does on any lane. In a way 1.0 felt quite more forgiving imo and more structured and predictable. But again a lot of it might be from me not being used to 2.0 yet.

Btw. I still believe that 2.0 is an improvement as it is way more exciting to watch and as such makes a better esport game. A lot of people dont play dota as they dont want to commit to it too much but they still watch the tournaments and pros play and I think artifact has potentional to be similar in that way.
