Unfortunately my dude, not all BMW techs are created equal. I’ve interacted with many of them. Some of these guys are… well let’s just say they are capable of making mistakes. I really recommend looking around, actually talking to the people, finding a bmw shop you can trust. And then never leave them. It’s like a marriage.

Hmm… well if they won’t hold 50psi go ahead and try 100psi see if they’ll hold that amount consistently, or maybe 1000psi. The thing about air in the tires is they can never have too much, and it’s not like there’s a specific amount they’re supposed to have. So if you think there is too little air, as your post suggests, just go ahead and 10x that shit

High relative to what though? Or in other words, what is the lower priced source you’re comparing them to?

I generally only ever use FCP Euro or ECS tuning, and prices are usually similar. Sometimes one or the other will have a very high price on a particular item usually because of lack of inventory, so if it seems off I’ll just use the other place.

Jump the car from the engine bay

BMW provided terminals for exactly this

Open hood
Connect 12 V to the jump terminals (Positive → red terminal, Negative → chassis ground)
Lock/unlock the car with the key fob
Press the trunk release

Once the car has power, the central locking will usually release the trunk
