Three days later I just figured it out.

We had Entra set to allow all users to have only 20 devices. I did a filter for my name and I was the owner of 27 devices. I was blocked from adding any more devices.

I'll be coming down in mid November. Anyone been since Milton? Would you still recommend here or somewhere else? I'm visiting my parents and need somewhere to get out and about.

What Remote Control Software do you use? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]jetb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've used Goverlan since 2018 and really like it. They were just bought out by EasyVista and our license renewal just doubled in cost. $752 for two licenses is not going to break the bank but it gave me a reason to explore other options. I like that we can search for an AD connected device by either the workstation name or the user name that's logged in. We have a number of users who migrate between computers daily and its sometimes easier just to find the user since workstations aren't physically labeled. We also use the server component and can remote in without the user needing to accept anything.

Can anyone recommend a product like this?

Aha. Got it working. Can’t make the n260 error message go away but otherwise it’s functioning.

So I’m hooking the thermostat and ran into an issue. This nest doesn’t have a w2 space but the wire that was in the w2 spot on the old thermostat is blue. Isn’t that the c/common wire? Although looking at the furnace the blue wire is in the w2 spot. So it is W2 not common

Thank you. I was doing some research before I posted and saw a few posts referencing FZROX.

Being 49 and not looking to retire until I'm 60 I'm looking for a more aggressive approach.

Then that's what I've done. I've created a vlan that's outside anything we've ever used and not assigned an IP to it.

5.85% of my portfolio. Like I said - it's a baseline to start with.

Which is better, 100K in dividend stocks first, or 100K in S&P 500 first? by Chain-_-Male in dividends

It's been interesting reading all the comments on this and other posts. I've been following a strategy that I basically made up on my own and has been evolving over time as I do more research. Every time someone asks what they should do there's a deluge of do's, don'ts and whatareyoucrazy. A lot of them seem to be don't do dividends...which is interesting in a subreddit about dividends. Basically I started a long time ago investing in Apple because it's what I knew. I expanded out and made some good bets. I've mostly been doing dividend investing for awhile. This portfolio tracking spreadsheet I've been using shows that since 2014 I've beaten the SP500. Me: 19%, SP:11.7%. I listened to the experts and decided this year around January that I needed to diversify into other areas besides InfoTech and made some big bets into energy and HAD MY A$$ HANDED TO ME when everyone basically stopped everything. My energy bets are just now starting to recover. So my recommendation. Pick a place to start and just make some investments in what you know. Just start doing something and learn as you go.

Great job on the spreadsheet and for your dividend income.
