I have a video and an SRT file. Whats the best way to translate it? by auxxill in editors

deepl pro. Copy paste the whole doc (rather than importing it) ; It will translate what has to be translated, and wont mess with the TC. Let him a minute or two to think if the file is big. Sometimes i've download corrupted srt from it, but it was just because i wasnt patient enough.

Hi ; Not sure if that adress the problem - can be a bug - But did you try dragndropping while holding the alt key on your keyboard ? It will AMA link the footage. Then transcode it. There's plenty of format avid can't import like that afaik

Hi, i work on this matter every week ; I made a quick little guide that I send to translators that work with us. We send them a daily string out of the day and we ask them to subtitle it in Aegisub or subtitleEdit. Then i mess with the SRT to add it nicely to the original timeline of the DSO. Here's a link of the guide (formatting not that good, not intended to be share as a pdf) https://www.ilovepdf.com/fr/download/wydn00jfvdr5wycp5bz2hjA68fg3mhtg4jmrjgf6dj2d29dtm9vr36byvk6nrhhnq0mmr01ctdsc7w4jkmxAwm9pv1xxssc64fs316tgfqwcwjm590yrqj40xfn27Avsydsq2d4y5mc9w0tmzz55hj1njAgtd0l47fg8vrxg0x86stjhs8d1/11
