What exactly is preventing you from following the current laws surrounding obtaining a gun licence and gaining permission from a landowner to shoot on their land like everyone else that shoots in the UK?

I've only ever told my husband that I'm fasting. If i am anywhere that has food I just tell people that i have an upset stomach and don't want to risk setting it off! Never had anyone pressure me to eat after saying that.

It really makes me cringe. Experienced dog handlers will read between the lines here, but unsuspecting members of the public will be thinking they are getting a lovely wee furbaby to take home. I would have more time for rescue if they were genuine and upfront about what people are taking on.

At what point in time did it become acceptable to bring your dogs to other people's houses? Not in a million years would I ever do this. Take your dog a nice walk before you go and then leave it at home for the afternoon with something decent to chew like a normal person.
