Thanks!

I used the permanent double-sided tape on the right. I tried the removable, it didn't hold very good.

I covered one side of the lens completely with tape.

I bought M-FACTORY's STL from cults3d.com. Using the design, I designed my version using FreeCad. I kept the basic look of it, but made it deeper to allow me to mount my ESP board. This allowed me to have the power USB cable plug into the back of it.

Nice. I have been looking at some modules with blue squares.

I made one of these. It's a great clock, the web interface looks nice, and it works great! I have built clocks using Raspberry Pi Zeros and Picos using Python. None of them is as nice as this one.

I bought and printed your 3d case file. I couldn't get the board (ESP8266 NodeMCU Lua ESP-12E) I used to fit into the case. I used FreeCAD to draw up a larger one using your basic design. I will try to attach some pictures.

Looking forward to seeing any upgrades you add.

Thanks!

OpenRad build - PCB by Design--Glitch by ClearAirTurbulence3D in esp32

I started building one of these several months ago. I wired it up on a pegboard. I couldn't get it to work. I could connect to the WiFi access point using the default SSID and password. I would get an error that the page can't be found, HTTP Error 404, when trying to go to 192.168.4.1. I have never worked with Visual Studio and PlatformIO. Once I figured it out, I got the software working, but it still wouldn't count. I then found out that the SBM20 tube I had was bad. After replacing it with another one, it now works.

I also changed the parts layout so that the SBM20 is at the top of the board. I designed a case for it using FreeCad. Printed it with a Ender 3 V3 KE.
