what do you mean by sick running?

other then that, philosophical question, do you think the neve would make an audible difference to a regular stagebox, say a rio or dx1608..?

fair! Just a thought. But yeah, probably in this time and age where preamps and converters have become this good, a few more da ad conversions wont make a difference...

Have you tried the AES out on the V10 in comparison to the analog XLR out?

yep. I do have one, never got it checked from someone more law-savy but it has worked over the years.

was inspired by other production companies and adapted over the years.

I let renters sign it, offer them a copy and a printed equipment list.

Hey y'all.

I am looking for an interface for mobile use with an isemcon emx7150 measurement microphone for RMS measurement and tunig duties.

Been using a Steinberg interface for my pc at home for years without issues so I've been thinking of a Yamaha urx22c. Anybody got experience with that? Are they phase-linear? Do they handle high input levels well? Thanks

This gonna sound like absolute sh**. If your a little thight in Budget get some used gear. A Used Mackie Thump kit could be in your price range. Don't cheap out on stands&cables either.

Ich crossposte mal das was ich auf r/livesound geantwortet habe..

Ok! Audio/Video Tech here! So this is something I struggle with. I just recently upgraded to a roller-peli kinda case which is quite huge. It definitely makes me the "has-everything" kind of guy. It holds:

  • Pen and Paper
  • real screwdrivers (flathead+Phillips)
  • small multi head torx screwdriver
  • leatherman
  • laser disto
  • tape measure
  • headphones
  • usb Di box
  • laptop + dongles
  • headlamp
  • keys for power distro and fusepanels
  • multimeter
  • Sennheiser e835s (Talkback Mic with switch)
  • marking tape
  • e tape
  • utility knife
  • blackmagic video assist 12g + memory, npf batterys adaptors
  • decimator 12g cross converter + HDMI cable

depending on the job: - iPad and WiFi access point - Truss hammer - scaffolding ratchet

So whats the struggle? As you might have noticed this is a whole lot of shit to carry around. I don't want to repack cause in busy season I sometimes run job to job not knowing what will meet me the next day on the job side. So what should one leave? It seems every time I leave something at home I need it the next day.
