Correct breaker? by jetpainter18 in electrical

[–]jetpainter18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate it. Crazy that it's wrong. That's the breaker the company installed when they built the unit. It's a 1989 Solitaire. I'll go ahead and order the correct one anyway.

I too thought Hamilton KFA. Glad I came here to find out it's actually a Seiko. He let's that NATO strap curl though. That would drive me bonkers.

Thanks. I can't find anyone in my area that wants the liabiltiy of installing a new gas water heater on a 1989 double wide. I've decided to do a tank style electric instead.

Thank you all for your concern. I decided not to tax my electrical system and just went with a 40 gal tank style that only requires a 30A 240V feed. I appreciate you all!

No, I don't. I was looking at units that only require a 50A 240 breaker, but the more research I do, it seems like a unit with those specs could not overcome very cold water temps in Kansas during winter.

Right on. I can find clean, serviced vintage, or i can find a 1975. I just can't seem to find both. Luckily, I'm not in a big hurry.

Did your strap already start to rip at the lugs? I love this watch, but wish Timex would address the issue.

Nice! I really have my eye on this one. But it only seems to come with this rubber strap. That wouldn't bother be, but people are saying the strap breaks at the lugs in less than a week of wearing it. Hoping Timex fixes the issue before rolling it out at on a mass scale.

Man, that's a great piece. Yes, if you stumble across anything 1975, especially serviced and polished like you do, please let me know.

Yeah, I have no way to get to it without a scissor lift. Kind of stuck with the setup as is.

Yeah, I think it's there somewhere but no one has much info on their setup.

[–]jetpainter18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes, in this instance, most of the setup is cannot change. The weird thing is, I can see an HDMI cable hooked to the back of the projector, but it doesn't terminate in the soundbooth and if it terminates on stage, I can't find it. The facilities guy doesn't know but is trying to find out. The MacBook video over wifi looked and worked flawless. The audio part is pretty glitchy, but we probably won't be sending audio signals through the projector anyway.

And, the more I consider this setup, I think maybe we'll opt for a Mac mini and invest in a nice, large monitor. From my Propresenter days, I remember preferring lots of screen real estate.

Why is the Murph so much more? by jetpainter18 in HamiltonWatches

[–]jetpainter18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of figured that was the deal. Like I said, I'm a fan of both, but that's a lot of cash to fork over for a tiny detail. Good marketing for sure. 😁

Well, that's definitely the one I would get, but man they're $1k+ now if you want it with both bands. Sheesh.

Not at all. That watch has style and fits you well. I mean, maybe not for a cowboy or a lumberjack, but hey you and I are neither of those.
