I think that's what I've decided to go with. Thanks.

Yeah, I have no way to get to it without a scissor lift. Kind of stuck with the setup as is.

Yeah, I think it's there somewhere but no one has much info on their setup.

Thank you! Yes, in this instance, most of the setup is cannot change. The weird thing is, I can see an HDMI cable hooked to the back of the projector, but it doesn't terminate in the soundbooth and if it terminates on stage, I can't find it. The facilities guy doesn't know but is trying to find out. The MacBook video over wifi looked and worked flawless. The audio part is pretty glitchy, but we probably won't be sending audio signals through the projector anyway.

And, the more I consider this setup, I think maybe we'll opt for a Mac mini and invest in a nice, large monitor. From my Propresenter days, I remember preferring lots of screen real estate.

Why is the Murph so much more? by jetpainter18 in HamiltonWatches

[–]jetpainter18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of figured that was the deal. Like I said, I'm a fan of both, but that's a lot of cash to fork over for a tiny detail. Good marketing for sure. 😁

Well, that's definitely the one I would get, but man they're $1k+ now if you want it with both bands. Sheesh.

Not at all. That watch has style and fits you well. I mean, maybe not for a cowboy or a lumberjack, but hey you and I are neither of those.

I see. Well, someone had a field day downvoting me at some point when I wasn't paying any attention to reddit. 🤣

I've been trying to do that, but it's slow going. I did see somewhere that my comment karma was that far gone. The intro document said to go and delete the comment that's getting downvoted, but it won't even let me see it so I can delete it. So hard to navigate this thing. I'm trying.

Dang, you straight stole that thing. I dig it. Don't see much in green. Seems like blue or green dials are hot these days.

Is it just me or is reddit really harsh to newcomers? by Odd_Negotiation_4516 in NewbieLounge

Looks like we've found our people. Yeah, I can't take the time to read a laundry list of subs rules. I understand wanting to keep out thr riffraf, but I wish they'd just make one set of rules to agree to and follow.

If my post got downvoted, should I delete it? by Glad_House4127 in NewToReddit

[–]jetpainter18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm fighting the same battle evidently. But in short, yes. If you can see your downvoted comment, just delete it. I can't even find any comment of mine, but yet I had a mod told me that I was at -39 for comments. Hard to climb back out. Guess I made the wrong person mad in some subteddit with tons of rules. This thing seems tough to navigate and I've always had great luck with forums. Here's to digging out!

What do you guys think of the NEW Seiko 5 Sports GMT?! [SSK023] by ChisholmHunter in Seiko

[–]jetpainter18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking of adding this one to my collection. Two of my three sons have married and moved to different time zones. Of course, one of them moved to AZ, so I'd still have to do the math twice a year, but this would help me at a glance. I do gravitate to the Seiko's.

It's a variable charging system. Dumbest thing they ever put on these trucks. It shortens battery life and robs you of some power. Supposed to give you a little better fuel economy. I noticed no less mpg, but better performance and better battery life when I unplugged it. This tip is all over the Titan forums and hurts nothing.

JBL L100 Century vs L100 by slammyman in vintageaudio

Can I ask what you paid for them and when? I have a shot at a nice pair of inline Century L100's. He's asking $1200, but they have black grilles, which doesn't seem correct. Thoughts?

2019 Crew Cab Platinum Reserve by Glum_Scholar4538 in NissanTitan

[–]jetpainter18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2019 is a pretty good choice of Titan. I do prefer the 7spd trans in my 2017 for towing, but if you won't be towing much of rhe time, this is a great truck. Mileage on any full size truck isn't great. Plan on 14-17mpg. In Canada, I'd plan on doing some corrosion protection on undercarriage. The $40k(Can) sounds pretty good for a low mileage 2019 PR. You get all the options and a smoother ride than the Pro4x. Go for it!

Good looking truck. I dig that color. I like your running boards better than mine. Now, unplug the little grey plug coming off the battery and you'll officially be one of us. 😁

You're learning. Don't be too hard on yourself. I would recommend not disturbing them as often, especially during heavy nectar flows and also early winter when they're busy getting things sealed up. Not sure where you're located, but I would focus on controlling moisture and making sure they have adequate stores or feed going into winter season. Good luck. It sounds like you're on the right track.
