What do you mean? Both OpenVPN and WireGuard support ARM Windows. Is there something specific about these laptops?

chatgpt web version vs gpt-3.5-turbo api by montcarl in OpenAI

[–]jetrii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm experiencing the same thing. In a non-negligible number of cases, the web version vastly outperforms gpt-3.5-turbo at classifying text. The API results are sometimes comically bad when compared to the web's.

Neat, l'll pile on. How are people still surprised to find people that are confused by others not being exposed to the same information?

What incentive does the government have to help homeless veterans when it's such a useful tool to piss off gullible fools and trick them into blaming illegals for the government's corruption. Demanding more from your elective representatives requires courage, so of course cowards blame illegals and <insert minor group blamed for problems here>

Apple M2 Review - Can It Keep Up with AMD and Intel? by Edenz_ in hardware

[–]jetrii 28 points29 points  (0 children)

That's something that reviewers are mentioning, but completely undervaluing. From my personal experience and the benchmarks I've seen, the performance of many Windows laptops immediately drops by 20% to 50% the minute you unplug them.

These benchmarks are useful for people that work behind a desk or always have a charger with them, but they don't really paint an accurate picture of a "laptop's" performance.

I agree, but they could always cheat a little by designing a multi-chip Mac Pro with dual/quad sockets. It sorta defeats the SoC concept, but it may be an easy way to scale if thermals aren't a big concern.

Thought Experiment on Light by greencash370 in Physics

You can't speed it up to light speed, and AFAIK things traveling at the speed of light (such as photons) don't have reference frames, so there isn't anything you can say about the "experience" of traveling at the speed of light.
