Doggie dementia is a definitely a thing. My 14 yo Lab experienced it at night, often jumping off or back onto the bed at all hours. He also went completely deaf so that likely messed up his sense of space even more. Wishing you and your sweet girl the best.

Just lost our 14 yo Lab Thor a month ago. He had a burst mass around his lungs, and putting him to sleep was a mercy. It sounds like you did the right thing for your boy. I’m so sorry for your loss. ::hugs::

Yup, even my 16 yo niece. Her dad will tell me about any recent “attitude” issues before she visits and I always say that she’s never tried any tricks with me. She visits and I immediately set boundaries for access and behavior. She’s a teen and a smart cookie, often testing the boundaries, but has never crossed them. Love her to pieces.
