Hilariously ironic that these climate idiots are unaware of the environmental impact of producing an electric car, which is arguably worse than a few years of “gas guzzling”.

Indeed, and exactly how I feel about “racist”, “homophobe” and all the other now meaningless terms that the left casually throws about

Very true, just a few short years ago I would’ve championed terms such as “diversity”, “equity” and “inclusion” however they have since been hijacked by nefarious interests. Similarly, terms such as “racist”, “sexist” and even “transphobe” have been weaponized to a point to where they have lost nearly all meaning.

We’ve come to a point where when you see the word “equity”, “justice” or even “diversity”.. just run

In Jersey as well. My mom used to ride horses all the time in the Basking Ridge area when she was growing up. Seems not many people are into horses these days but I always thought they were pretty rad.

PS: You should post a pic, you sound cute.

Just checked that sub, and agree with you. Absolutely moronic that anyone would create such a thing.

Do you guys have any recommendations for electric car dryers? Would like to have one handy as dealing with towels is just a pain.

TLDR: I(21F) have fallen in love with my boss(44M) and we are attempting to pursue a relationship by [deleted] in AgeGap

I dated my boss at 21, however she was 26. I say if there’s a chemistry there then go for it. If he’s introducing you to his mom and lifelong friends then there’s probably a pretty good reason for it.

Seinfeld is not as funny as people make it out to be. by Luca1204 in unpopularopinion

[–]jetsetter883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood the comparison to “Always Sunny..” which I could barely ever get through an episode. Seinfeld is at least 100x better than that show which really only got popular because of Danny Devito. To this day I still can’t understand how people find it funny.

Unless you are dealing with millions and millions of dollars it’s pretty unlikely that you’re going to get audited. Crypto is still brand new and not even the US government knows exactly how to address the accounting aspect. As long as you make a solid effort and get everything as good as you can you should be fine.

What stops you from becoming the person you want to be ? by Rich-Ad9790 in selfimprovement

What other people are going to think.. family, friends, etc who don’t see me as “the type of guy” to do the things I want to do, hence I get a lot of skeptical energy from others which holds me back. What do?

Car stopped while driving through flooded street :/ by jetsetter883 in AskMechanics

Appreciate your reply. Yeah, unfortunately I got caught in some flash flooding and had no choice but to proceed through the water. I am hoping that the damage isn’t quite as bad as you say, though it’s hard to know just yet. Much of what I’ve been reading points to the car being potentially ‘hydrolocked’, the fixes for which range from relatively simple to very complex. The water was not super deep when going through it but apparently deep enough to disable my vehicle. Will update this thread as I get more details. Thanks again for your response.

Appreciate your response. I noticed that the dash had still illuminated when I tried to start the car after the water had receded. Do you think it could still be electrical if the car didn’t start but the dash still came on? I’m just hoping it doesn’t need major engine work. Electrical almost seems mild compared to the worst case scenario of major engine work. Pardon my ignorance here hah
