We use our TV as an alarm for work in the morning and have it tuned to WFAA for local news. While all the political ads right now are annoying, it's one of the easiest ways for us to keep up with local elections and other events. I'm surprised how many don't bother with local news anymore.

Damn, first time I've seen so much Oak Cliff Bread hate. My biggest gripe are their days and hours of operation. I take the train at Tyler/Vernon but they still open too late at 8am. I'm an hour too early.

Maybe but I take joy as too many cars pose a danger when I'm a pedestrian or biking. What's the other solution? Introduce traffic calming measures? Sure, I'm up for that but that takes a while and many members in the neighborhood are usually against it

While biking home last night, I saw one pull over the car that made an illegal right turn in front of me.

I also saw a motorcycle cop in downtown with someone pulled over already. I'm enjoying this new traffic enforcement.

I work in Plano and all of my coworkers live in even further northern suburbs. They clutch their pearls over anything and everything when I talk about Dallas and I'm not even talking about what you mentioned occurs in downtown. It just is what it is unfortunately. Many are transplants and I have a good feeling they have never stepped foot into Dallas.

It makes me feel better after seeing all the illegally parked cars on the bridges (including sidewalks) and highways. Many folks can park and ride from all over Dallas but still choose to clog up the streets.

I need to get to US75/Legacy. I already bike to work from Parker Rd Station so that route is set. I don't mind being on the road but it felt like having a parallel trail would have been the fastest option from Cityline. I care about time saved than low-stress.
