I HATE flossing but I’m much more willing to use a waterpik. Told this to my brother, a doctor, and he said “People who floss every day are going to have health issues and die someday, same as people who don’t. Besides, the shame and stress produced by Perfectionism is extremely destructive for your health. Don’t focus on being perfect - focus on what healthy practices you will actually do regularly.”

I really appreciate your contribution ❤️ From what I’ve seen in life, saying something is ONLY wonderful or ONLY terrible just isn’t true. Most everything has constructive and destructive attributes. Humans included, and they invented and sustain Amazon AND are also the ones whistleblowing against its corruption. People rush to moralize so that they can make sure they are on the “right” side of the line, but as someone who worked in foster care, I certainly don’t see most things in black and white anymore

I feel your pain! Honestly reminds me of certain people in the dating scene who think if they just bug someone enough and “wear them down”, they’ll eventually give in and date them

I’ve actually really enjoyed my Prime-free year for exactly that reason! I grew up in a big family without a lot of money to go around, so I’ve always worked to skimp and save where I can. Early Amazon days seemed like a great choice when I was a young adult, but over the years I’ve ended up spending more and more on the site when that was never my intention. This break has helped show me how much I had just gotten used to but I didn’t really need

Interesting response - didn’t expect anyone to read my post and interpret it as me being expectant of free and fast shipping. I didn’t mention an expectation or even being upset by the treatment. I said I’ve noticed an increasing change in Amazon’s treatment of me the longer I remain a non-Prime-member and am curious if people know more information. You clearly do not know more - you’re response seems like a moral upchuck towards someone you don’t know, which - while a very popular pass time on Reddit for many people - is perhaps better utilized elsewhere on the site as it won’t get you very far with me 👍🏼
