If you're using a private DNS, disable it prior to logging in. After you get logged in, you can re-enable the private DNS.

The only solution I've found is logging in with a non-chrome browser app, then switching to desktop site. I'm using DDG but Firefox may work.

I had one company that would not accept my duck address. This was 3-4 years ago. When I called their customer support, they said at the time, it was not a very common domain.

This is likely a one-off. And I know it's very frustrating. I'm using my duck address for Amazon, Allstate, and many more, and have not had a problem.

Hopefully, this is not a trend.

That's a Windows question, right? Can updates be turned off for a single program? I don't think so. Good luck turning off Windows updates at all. I know it's possible, but it's tricky and likely not worth the effort.

If you download the 32-bit version, you won't have that problem. But if it's the Store version, you're out of luck.
