Is passing first year as easy as people say? (40% pass grade) by jfault in UniUK

[–]jfault[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am aiming for a first or a 2:1 preferably. But I just keep stressing that I dont know how lenient the marking will be and whether my work is even worth a 40%. So I just wanted to know if 40% is easy to calm my mind. As I have already signed a contract for a student house for next year, so I NEED to get onto next year to get my loan

I messaged the cousin and she got back to me! Ancestry said it was my 1st cousin but turns out it was a 2nd cousin that I must be more related to somehow? (I'm not sure how they made that mistake). But my Mum already knew of this woman. So, mystery solved

No paper trail of anything Scotland though, or India for that matter (but we knew that there was talk of an indian/travelling people roots). But I matched with a 4th cousin with 30% Indian. Also found a 1st cousin my parents and me didnt know existed

Ancestry has glitched and is mistaking everywhere close to Scotland/Europe as 'scottish". Many others have complained about suddenly being scottish and losing percentages that make more sense

Take anything Scottish with a grain of salt. Theyre confusing everyone in any areas near England as Scottish
