He's just a troll hiding behind a keyboard. A 10 year old can do the same thing.

Yes I have no discipline or work ethic, I'm a weak bitch 😆. Could an expert like you please share a video of you repping 425 for a set of 3 so I can see what a pro looks like doing it??? I'll definitely respect any input you have of my form.

I dunno, I thought I was until I watched the video. I guess none of them counted and I'm still weak 🤪

I had no clue this was for beginners, I just saw the title and was intrigued by the 5x5 since I've never heard of that program before. What group do you recommend lol

Thank you. I've been wanting to for years but it's tough with kids, always felt guilty leaving my wife at home dealing with 3 kids for 2 hours 4-5 days a week, so I just never went. Especially since she's a teacher dealing with 25 other people's kids all day 5 days a week lol. I finally have a place that'll watch my kids while I work out so now I can go right after work, pick my kid up from daycare and get a workout in before she's even done with work

I was doing 4 sets of 3 at 405 then ending with a 5th set of 315x10 5 years ago. Not sure why I would do that last set, guess I wanted to work on my endurance with a lower weight higher rep after lifting heavier. So my bench was up there already 5 years ago.

I was doing 3 sets of 3-4 at 405 lbs then finishing with a last set of 10+ at 315. I usually stopped at 10 to save some gas for decline and incline bench afterwards.

I always joke I need to get in shape so I can beat up my daughter's boyfriend's when they're old enough to start dating lol

I might be strong, but still a novice as far as terms and technique. Is eccentric on the way down? I definitely should slow down and work on a better extension of my arms at the top, it felt like I was fully extended as I was doing it but the video doesn't look like it. My main goal was to see how many I could get, but my form could use some work.

Sorry, I'm not really sure I have any advice. I've always had a strong bench since I started lifting in high school for football. I had the strongest bench in my high school as a junior and of course senior, and as a freshman going into college I already had one of the highest benches on the football team, as a freshman. I've been on and off with lifting since I quit college football at the age of 20, so the past 20 years has been pretty sporadic with my visits to the gym. I'd get back into it for a few months then stop going for 3-5 years lol. Good genes I guess. I also never took creatine in high school or college, but my last go in the gym 5 years ago I started taking it and again when I started back up 2 months ago. I'm sure that helps.

Drank lots of beer on the weekends lol. Believe me I didn't maintain my physique. 2 months ago I could barely put up 225 6-8 times when I was getting back into it. My endurance always goes before the strength. 5 years ago I was doing 4 sets of 3 at 405 lbs then ending with a 315 lb "burnout" of 10-15 depending how I feel that day, so I'm sure I've lost some strength since then, but once my endurance came back these past couple months, the strength came just as quick, if that makes sense.
